Title IA: A School wide program is for improving Basic Programs operated by Schools.

Title IIA: To increase academic achievement of all students by helping schools and districts improve teacher and principal quality and ensure that all teachers are highly qualified.

Title IV Part A: Student support and academic enrichments.

Title VIB 21st CCLC /Family and Community Engagement Office, Afterschool competitive Grant is at East and Mission Elementary School.

Title V Part B, RLIS: This program is designed to assist rural districts in using federal resources to improve student support and student academic enrichment.

IDEA: To assist local educational agencies in providing special education and related services to IDEA eligible children with disabilities. Broken down to Flow through and Preschool.

Carl Perkins Basic: To assist school districts in improving secondary and postsecondary-level career and technical education programs.

Carl Perkins High Schools that Work: Competitive Grant to assist school districts in improving secondary and postsecondary-level career and technical education programs by supporting recruitment and retention of Career Tech Education Teachers.

ESSER II: Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021. To provide federal support in preventing, preparing for, and responding to coronavirus. This is second round of one time CARES Funds to help during the pandemic.

ESSERII ARP: Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021. To provide federal support in preventing, preparing for, and responding to coronavirus. The third round of one time CARES Funds to help during the pandemic.

School counselor Corps Competitive: federal K-12 relief funding from the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund as part of the American Rescue Plan for state-level activities and interventions that respond to students’ academic, social, and emotional needs and address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on underrepresented student subgroups, including each major racial and ethnic group, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, English learners, gender, migrant students, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care and for emergency needs as determined by the SEA.

ARP Flowthrough and Preschool: The American Rescue Plan (ARP) was signed into law on March 11, 2021, offering the first COVID-19 related targeted IDEA resources to address the challenges faced in ensuring services for children with disabilities.  These ARP supplemental funds are intended to support early intervention and special education services for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities and their families

Title VI Indian Education: Indian Education supports the efforts to meet the unique educational and culturally related academic needs of American Indian and Alaska Native students to assist them in meeting the same challenging state student academic achievement standards as other students.  The current application and additional resources are available under the Departments tab, Indian Education link on this district website and on request for review at the Indian Education Building.  For further information, you may contact the Indian Education Director's office at 405-247-2288.

JOM (Johnson O’Malley): This local program is operated under an educational plan, approved by the BIE, which contains educational objectives to address the needs of the eligible American Indian and Alaska Native students and may include such programs as culture, language, academics, and dropout prevention.

Title VII Impact Aid: Designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt Federal property, or that have experienced increased expenditures due to the enrollment of federally connected children, including children living on Indian lands. The Impact Aid law (now Title VII of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) provides assistance to local school districts with concentrations of children residing on Indian lands, military bases, low-rent housing properties, or other Federal properties and, to a lesser extent, concentrations of children who have parents in the uniformed services or employed on eligible Federal properties who do not live on Federal property. School districts use Impact Aid for a wide variety of general fund operating expenses, such as the salaries of teachers and teacher assistants; purchasing textbooks, computers, uniforms, buses, and other equipment; after-school programs and remedial tutoring; advanced placement classes; and special enrichment programs. Any LEA that claims children residing on Indian lands for the purpose of receiving funds under section 7003 must establish Indian policies and procedures (IPPs) to ensure that the LEA meets the requirements.

NOTICE: Anadarko Public Schools will host two Tribal consultations per year.  These consultation meetings are part of the newly revised Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) that pertains to a variety of federal programs, including Impact Aid. Consultation meetings, the Indian Policies and Procedures (IPP), district's program participation and grant funding will be reviewed and discussed.  We view these consultation meetings as an opportunity to not only share our programs with you but to also learn about available area tribal programs as well.  We are looking forward to further developing our partnerships with our area tribes.  We invite you to attend one or both each year.  Once finalized, the IPP will be recommended to the Anadarko Board of Education for approval so that it can be submitted to USDE, along with the Impact Aid Application.
